Legal Advisory Letter Sent to UNM, NM and DOJ about Nonie Darwish Talk

Global Frontier Justice Center sent an advisory letter to UNM President David Schmidly and copied NM Gov. Susana Martinez, NM Attorney General Gary King, District Attorney General Kari Brandenburg and Thomas E. Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Department of the US Department of Justice. The letter details the legal rights and limits of free speech and association at universities, the need for equal institutional protection of these rights, and potential legal challenges if free speech and association rights are not protected by a university.
